Chaos King

Chaos King is a multiplayer party game for up to 4 players where you participate in a tournament hosted by Hades. Whoever can cause the most chaos is named the new Chaos King.

Contributions:

Developed the respawn mechanic where a player drops from the sky and has a target reticle that scales as the player approaches the ground to assist with timing the landing

Developed the end-game Zeus hazard that detects players within a detection radius and strikes them down if they continue to stay detected

Designed and implemented VFX for most actions in the game using a combination of shaders and particles

Designed and developed a dynamic character select screen that allows up to 4 players to join, select a character, and optionally change their name

Implemented a simple map selection screen that cycles through maps added and enabled by the level designers

Created an audio manager that queued up different game announcer voice quips and allowed for specific audio clips/SFX to be played
